Harry was rescued from pound with another female dog (Dixie).  Both were in pretty dirty condition – matted, dirty coats and very scared around people.  They were being transferred to Best Friends Animal Rescue for rehoming when he escaped from the car at the Service Station in Gidgegannup on 24 June. 

 He was spotted a week later on Reen Road but attempts to catch him failed and even though a trap was bought in with Roast Chicken as the bait he was too timid to enter it.  He was sighted a few days later in bushland closer to Midland, but was no where to be seen when Jeane arrived.  He was then sighted back on Reen Road (the people here had been leaving food out for him) on 11 July and again a trap was set, but this time Dixie was put in the trap for a little while to see if that would help to coax him inside.  It succeeded within 2 hours. 

 So now Harry and Dixie are back at BFA Rescue and will be put up for adoption once Harry recovers from his adventure and becomes more relaxed around people.
